HSCRS Events San Jose Grand Prix HSCRS This was the final year of the San Jose Grand Prix event which closed one chapter in the history of the Historic Stock Car Racing Series and opened up others for the members of HSCRS and fans of these American icons. For three years we served as the undercard race for the Champ Cars, put on a great show for the thousands of race fans who attended the Grand Prix and through our "Ride of your Life" exhibition races raised over $200,000 for the Canary Fund. All of us who had the opportunity to speed down the city streets of San Jose surrounded by a blur of concrete walls, fences, banners and jumbotrons will never forget the thrill of this very unique experience.
