Hero Cards Available from Steve Schoellhorn

Hello fellow historic stock car racers,

For those interested Marathon Coach can design Hero Cards (for free to you!) and then outsource to a local printer for printing. As many members can attest, they’re really fun to hand out to kids and other racing fans at our events. Also an autographed hero card in a cheap frame makes a great holiday gift for those distant relatives that you don’t want to spend any real $ on in these challenging times!!!

If you plan to take advantage of this opportunity, please e-mail me directly to give me a heads up that your material is on its way. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Historic Stock Car “Hero Card” Order Information

The historic stock car groups encourage members to have “Hero Cards” made for their cars to promote the history of their car at racing events. The cards are great giveaways for kids and other spectators. These promotional cards are just one of many things that will help take historic stock cars to the next level. In order to make producing these cards easy for everyone, Marathon Coach can help produce these cards for you.

What does a member need to provide?

Preferably three good pictures of your car, but we can make it work if you have just one or two good shots if necessary. If sent electronically, they need to be in TIFF or JPG format. To ensure best resolution, the pictures should 300 dpi. If you want to just mail the photographs, Marathon can scan the pictures for you.

The basic history of your car is needed for the back of the hero card. This information is the same as the large “story boards” we put out in front of our cars at events. This information is best provided in electronic form in a Word document. Marathon can retype the information off a paper copy if necessary, but e-mailing it in a Word document would be greatly preferred. The back of the card also provides an opportunity to promote your business.

What is the cost?

2000 cards on light cardboard stock will cost $525. 1000 cards will cost $425. Shipping is not included. One order of cards should last for at least a couple of years.
